Aduvie is an international school that has keen interest in sports and physical well-being of our students. Our aim of sports in respect to one of our core values is to develop and expose our students to various games and sports so that they can compete excellently amongst their peer globally.
In Aduvie, we offer varieties of games and sports ranging from football, basketball, volleyball, athletics, swimming, gymnastics, karate, table tennis, tennis and badminton.
The objective is that every child in Aduvie should be able to have the knowledge to play at least one individual sport and one team sports.
We have a fast-growing male and female basketball teams that are being trained by one of the National coaches of Nigeria. Our male basketball team represented the school in a friendly basketball tournament held at Nigerian Tulip International Colleges on the 20th of February 2022. The team was placed 3rd among the six schools that participated and won the bronze medal.
Future basketball event: We are looking forward to having a proposed basketball event that will come up on the 16th of June 2022. This event will hold in Aduvie, in collaboration with Giant of Africa (GOA). The theme of this event is tagged: ‘A Day of the African Child.’ The aim of the program is to educate an African child on the importance of education, using basketball as a tool. uble click to start editing the text.
We expose our athletes to different track and field events such as sprint races, shot put, discus, javelin, long jump and high jump.
Our recent athletic engagement was the Abuja Inter-Secondary School Athletics Championship (AISSAC) that was held at the Abuja National Stadium on 4th of June 2022. Some of our athletes made Aduvie proud by winning individual medals.

1. Football, basketball, and volleyball: Mondays, Tuesdays (3pm – 5.30pm) and Saturdays (7.30am – 9am)
2. Badminton and table tennis: Thursdays (4pm – 5.30pm)
3. Karate: Wednesdays (7.00pm – 8.00am), Thursdays (3.30pm – 4.30pm) and Saturdays (7.30am – 9.00am)
4. Swimming: Thursdays (1.50pm – 2.50pm) and Saturdays (9.30am – 10.30am)
5. Gymnastics: Wednesdays (2.00pm – 3.00pm)
